Understanding the Dashboard
Home flow vs writing screen, header navigation, saved posts, and auto-save.
The Skribt interface has two main layouts depending on where you are in the workflow.
Two screens
Home flow (topic, brief, outline)
- Skribt logo — new post (with confirmation if needed).
- My Posts — in the header (or account area per your live UI).
- How this works — overview of the five phases.
- Export — not available until you're on the writing screen with content.
Writing screen (after Generate content)
Three panels: chat · article · SEO. See Editing your article.
- Save status in header (auto-save ~1.2s after changes).
- Export in header.
- My Posts, Writing Profile, Billing — under the account menu (avatar).
Saved posts dropdown
Open My Posts from the home header or the account menu on the writing screen:
- Posts are listed with title, word count, and last edited time
- Click any post to load it back into the editor
- Delete posts you no longer need (with confirmation)
- Your current post is highlighted in the list
Auto-save indicator
On the writing screen, a status chip appears in the header showing your save state:
- Saving (spinner): Currently saving to the cloud
- Saved (green check): All changes saved
- Unsaved (amber dot): Changes pending on the home flow (auto-saves within about a second after you pause typing)
Skribt automatically saves your work about 1.2 seconds after you stop making changes. Local drafts on the home/brief/outline flow are also stored in your browser so you won't lose work if you close the tab before generation.
