Account Setup
Google sign-in, writing profile, sites, formatting preferences, and billing.
Google Sign-In
Skribt uses Google authentication for secure, password-free access:
- Click Sign in with Google in the header
- Select your Google account
- You're in with no email verification or password setup required
Your name and profile photo are pulled from your Google account automatically.
Writing Profile
Access your Writing Profile from the account menu (click your avatar → Writing Profile). Here you can configure:
Writing Context
Add instructions about your brand voice, target audience, or writing style. This context is used whenever Skribt generates or refines content for you.
Default Language
Choose your preferred language for article generation. Options include English, German (formal/informal), Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, and more.
My Sites
Add your website's sitemap URL to enable internal linking suggestions. Skribt can recommend relevant pages from your site to link within articles.
Formatting Preferences
Fine-tune how Skribt formats your content:
- Citation style
- Heading capitalization (title case vs sentence case)
- Oxford comma usage
- Number formatting (numerals vs words)
Advanced: em dashes, smart quotes, ellipsis style, and more.
Billing
View your current plan and usage from Account → Billing (or navigate to /settings/billing). From here you can:
- See your article generation usage
- Upgrade your plan
- Access the Stripe billing portal to manage payment methods and invoices
