Account Setup
Google sign-in, writing profile, sites, formatting preferences, and billing.
Google Sign-In
Skribt uses Google authentication for secure, password-free access:
- Click Sign in with Google in the header
- Select your Google account
- You're in — no email verification or password setup required
Your name and profile photo are pulled from your Google account automatically.
Writing Profile
Open Account menu → Writing Profile (modal). Sections:
Voice
Add instructions about your brand voice, target audience, or writing style. Set your default language here too. This context is used whenever Skribt generates or refines content for you.
Sites
Add your website's sitemap URL to enable internal linking. Skribt can recommend relevant pages from your site to link within articles. See Connected Sites.
Formatting
Fine-tune how Skribt formats your content:
- Citation style
- Heading capitalization (title case vs sentence case)
- Oxford comma usage
- Number formatting (numerals vs words)
Advanced: em dashes, smart quotes, ellipsis style, and more.
Billing
View your current plan and usage from Account menu → Billing & Subscription (app.skribt.com/settings/billing). From here you can:
- See your article generation usage
- Upgrade your plan (or visit app.skribt.com/plans)
- Open Manage subscription to access the Stripe billing portal for payment methods and invoices
