Research Phases
What Skribt may do during first draft generation — not a user-driven research wizard.
Note: Research now happens during first draft generation, not as a separate brief-phase wizard with source cards.
When you click Generate content →, Skribt may run these steps automatically (you see high-level progress in chat, not manual controls for each):
- Analyze your brief — audience, tone, goals, key points, length targets.
- Optional web search — if Allow AI to research the web is enabled, Skribt runs limited queries for facts and references.
- Fetch manual sources — URLs and uploaded files you attached in the brief.
- Draft the article — full content written into the editor following your outline.
- SEO polish — checks and targeted fixes before the draft is complete.
You do not trigger or approve each phase separately. For details on what you see during drafting, see Writing your first draft.
