Supported formats
- TXT
- MD (Markdown)
- DOC
- DOCX
Limits
- Maximum file size: 10MB
- Maximum extracted text: 15,000 characters (longer files are truncated)
What happens after upload
- Text files (TXT, MD): Read directly as UTF-8 text
- Word documents (DOC, DOCX): Processed using mammoth to extract raw text
- PDFs: Sent to Claude's vision model to extract all text content while preserving structure
