Modified Flesch Reading Ease, passing at 50+, and the underlying formula.

Based on a modified Flesch Reading Ease formula, displayed as a score from 0 to 100. The formula calculates sentence length and syllables per word to estimate how easy your content is to read. A score of 50 or higher passes the check. Lower scores suggest you should use shorter sentences and simpler words.

The calculation:

206.835 − (1.015 × average words per sentence) − (60 × average syllables per word)
