TL;DR Block
AI summary, manual edits, and refresh when article content changes.
The TL;DR block provides an AI-generated summary of your article that readers can scan before diving in.
Auto-generation
When you add a TL;DR block, the AI reads your article content and generates a 2–4 sentence summary (40–80 words). The summary matches your article's voice and style, starting directly with the content rather than generic phrases like "This article explains..."
Manual editing
The generated summary appears in an editable text area. You can modify the text freely or write your own summary from scratch.
Stale content detection
The editor tracks a hash of your article content when the TL;DR is generated. If you make changes to the article, a Refresh button appears on the TL;DR block. Clicking it regenerates the summary based on your updated content.
