Plan Change Flows
Standard checkout versus direct subscription updates, both with proration and immediate effect.
There are two ways plan changes can process:
Standard checkout: For most plan changes, you complete a quick checkout flow. This is the same secure process used for your initial subscription.
Direct update: In some cases, particularly for existing subscribers changing tiers, the plan updates directly through your current subscription. No additional checkout required.
Both methods apply proration credits and take effect immediately.
