Formatting Preferences
Main and advanced controls for citations, headings, punctuation, and numbers.
Control how Skribt formats your content. These settings are organized into commonly used options and advanced options.
Main options

| Citations | Numbered / Linked text | Numbered: "...proven effective[1]" with a Sources list. Linked: the text itself links to the source. |
| Headings | Title Case / Sentence case | Title Case: "How to Write Better Headlines". Sentence case: "How to write better headlines" |
| List commas | With final comma / Without | With: "apples, oranges, and bananas". Without: "apples, oranges and bananas" |
| Numbers | Spell out small / Always digits / Always spell | Small: "three apples but 15 oranges". Digits: "3 apples and 15 oranges" |
Advanced options

| Semicolons | Allow / Avoid | Allow: "The data was clear; action was needed". Avoid uses separate sentences. |
